Teaching Philosophy
I believe all students are unique from one another and deserve the opportunity to thrive in a stimulating educational environment. My pedagogical implementation of strategic multi-sensory techniques accommodates students’ individual needs. It is crucial to produce a positive, safe, and open learning community. While challenging learners through high expectations of performance standards they will continue to build and strengthen foundational concepts. Collaborative instruction with peers as well as sustained encouragement and constructive feedback from the educator shows students’ growth in academia. I aim to instill critical thinking skills and problem solving strategies through explicit and direct instruction that students’ will carry with them throughout their educational career. Teaching is a learning process; learning from your students, colleagues, administrators, parents, and the community.
I am a lifelong learner of education as it evolves.
